ETS, A 3-TIER LABOR COLLECTION AVAILABLE IN PENTAGON 2000SQL

New York, New York, November 1, 2001 PENTAGON 2000 Software, Inc. announced today the availability of a state-of-the-at labor time collection feature for use in the PENTAGON 2000SQL aerospace enterprise system. The new feature incorporates the latest 3-Tier programming techniques improving speed, reliability and data integrity in the collection of labor time on the shop floor.

Called ETS (Electronic Time Sheet), the new feature allows quick and complete labor time collection on the shop floor. Using an advanced Bar-Code scheme, ‘Click-In and Out’ of Work Order Operations is simplified and accurate.

3-Tier technology supports widespread usage of low cost workstations on the shop floor as the bulk of client processing is performed in a ‘Middle Tier’ engine residing on a network. Additionally, 3-Tier Technology supports simplified integration of Hand-Held devices, Tablets, and PDA’s in the enterprise network either via a LAN or wireless port. 3-Tier technology is fully supported in the MS SQL 2000 environment in which PENTAGON 2000SQL operates.
