Software, Inc. announced today that The
Mexican Navy Command - Naval Air Force “Secreteira de Marina - Fuerza
Aeronaval” has selected PENTAGON 2000SQL for
logistics support of naval aviation procurement operations. Mexican naval aviation reportedly operates
and fully maintains over 100 fixed and rotary wing aircraft in at least 15
squadrons. Pentagon 2000SQL was chosen
from among several US and Mexican software solutions under consideration for a
general upgrade of Mexican naval aviation logistics support activities.
The Commander of Mexican Navy Logistics Directorate
said that the decision to go with PENTAGON 2000SQL was made after
a lengthy evaluation period. He told
PENTAGON 2000 Software, Inc. that of all the systems considered, only PENTAGON 2000SQL provides the
broad range of functionality that matches current and future Mexican naval
aviation requirements, including fully integrated support of all procurement,
aircraft maintenance, engineering and workshop activities.
PENTAGON 2000SQL is currently being evaluated
by several civilian and military branches of the Government of Mexico for air
fleet and logistics support.
