Leading European Aviation Services Provider is Implementing PENTAGON 2000SQL

Fokker Services B.V. considers selection of PENTAGON 2000SQL a “strategic decision”

New York, New York, October 11, 2004       PENTAGON 2000 Software, Inc. announced today that implementation of PENTAGON 2000SQL by Fokker Services is proceeding apace and is on schedule. Fokker Services licensed PENTAGON 2000SQL for several hundred concurrent users in May 2004, following a comprehensive, international search among leading general and aviation-specific ERP systems. The current scope of the implementation aims at Fokker Services conducting all Materials Management, Component Repair, Customer Service and Accounting activities in PENTAGON 2000SQL

Commenting on the decision to license PENTAGON 2000SQL, Mr. Erik Geertsema, VP Component and Material Services, said, “…it was nothing less than a strategic decision. Fokker Services needed an integrated system to support our growth as a full service provider in a highly competitive market. With PENTAGON 2000SQL we found a complete aviation-oriented application, which gives us that growth potential. With the introduction of PENTAGON 2000SQL, we will phase-out not less than five legacy systems and reduce the work load.”

When asked about his experience working on the Fokker Services implementation, Yossi Mofaz, VP ERP Systems at Pentagon 2000 responded, “This is the largest implementation conducted by our company. The experience has been tremendous, mostly because the team at Fokker Services is so professional. They have dedicated high-level staff to work full-time on ensuring a smooth implementation and we have been blessed with broad-based enthusiasm for the project in the Fokker Services user community.”

Implementation of PENTAGON 2000SQL at Fokker Services is scheduled to continue through the second quarter of 2005.
